Late season archery plans.
« on: November 05, 2015, 10:08:51 AM »
I'm on the fence on weather I should take the whole week of thanksgiving off and head up north and hunt mulies by myself or just wait and head down and hunt with the rest of my hunting partners trying to fill their elk tags.
What is everyone else planning for late season?

Depending on where you are heading it looks like it could be one of the best years in a long time to be hitting the mulie grounds for the late hunt... :twocents:
Kinda wish i still had a tag in my pocket..

Headed to the NE around Thanksgiving. So far, my elk tag is burning my pocket and would prefer to tag out but probably will be relegated to whitetail outside Colville.

first week through Thanksgiving weekend deer hunting eastside mulies, then hunting elk east side the last weekend.  Wife already shot one elk and hopefully the daughter shoots one this weekend, then I get to get real picky deer hunting.

Pain is temporary, achieving the goal is worth it.

I didn't say it would be easy, I said it would be worth it.

Probably staying on the wet side and taking my chances with BT and Rosies on the Peninsula.  Too late in the game to scout any east side locations, although I'd love to fill a tag with a mulie.

Most of the popular units close that weekend.  After that the only people in there will raffle tag guys and a certain guy that doesn't need a tag, he has rights.

I don't have any open day's to hunt until after TG weekend  :( but the week following I'll either be chasing whitetails in the Okanogan or staying west for BT's - depends on the weather forecast.
